MASTER CRAFTSMANSHIP
All Kala Home products are hand-made in small batches. We partner with master artisans, and sustainable brands to curate products made with traditional, time-tested techniques. The techniques used to create our collections include traditional back-strap and foot-loom weaving, hand-embroidery, hand weaving, and natural plant-dyeing, all of which have a strong cultural significance and have been passed down from generation to generation.
ETHICAL & SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
Our artisan partners are paid above fair wages, comparable to professional wages in the region, and work on their craft in their own homes or safe-work studios. With each Kala Home purchase, we are encouraging safe and sustainable employment opportunities.
