La Laguna Pillow
Handcrafted by the weavers of San Juan La Laguna in Lake Atitlan Guatemala. This pillow is dyed with the traditional Mayan Jaspe tie-dye technique using solely natural plant dyes, including the indigo root, grown in the highlands.
The dyeing process takes three days to complete, and the textile is then woven on the traditional backstrap loom over two days. Due to the handcrafted nature, there may be slight variations.
Your purchase helps preserve millennial craft traditions, provides economic empowerment to artisans, and contributes to social programs for artisan communities. Learn More ⇢
